Another rough day in the mountains...

Here is a view of the village next to our hotel.

Today, I am all pumped and ready to start our second day of skiing. We go up Buckaroo Express (that should tell you how hard the trails are) to start the day.

So, the first few seconds I was thinking "Wow, I'm much worse now than I was yesterday!", but I kept going. After a few turns, I started getting the feeling back...I actually don't suck!

Rewind to earlier in the morning...I was getting dressed and put on my "Whistler" sweatshirt. Whistler is a ski resort in Canada that we went to a few years ago. Jerrod said, "You're going to wear that? You are going to make the mountain mad...karma will get you".

Jerk.

This was my view for the entire day because...after a few good turns on my first run of the morning, I felt a pop in my right knee. I didn't fall, twist hard, or anything! It was VERY sore, though. Because I am so incredibly tough, I finished my way down the hill, although it took me about 20 minutes to get down the green slope.

I still had a great day though! You really can't beat sitting by the fire in the lobby with a huge Christmas tree looking out the window at the skiers while sipping on some good 'ol Starbucks!

Luckily, I think I'm fine. I am going to try to ski tomorrow. They made my lift ticket from today good for tomorrow since I couldn't ski the rest of the day. Although, I think I will not wear this sweatshirt tomorrow.

Here is Jerrod having fun...too bad he doesn't have a lift ticket for tomorrow and I do!!! Ha!

Actually, if I can ski tomorrow, he will buy another ticket...if I decide that my knee is still too sore, he will just take mine.

Jerrod, you ARE a jerk. Hope your knee is feeling better tracey.

Jerrod, I was just kidding you aren't a jerk-just not nice to pass bad vibes to the wife
