Poor Bryson

My boy waited patiently FOREVER for his birthday balloon to finally come down. He carried that balloon around the house everywhere once he was able to get his hands on it again.

I went outside to clean out the flowerbeds and Bryson followed me...with his balloon. Well, he accidentally let go of it and it still had just enough helium in it for the wind to easily pick it up and whisk it away! He yelled "Momma, get it!!!!". It was too late. It was already too high for me to reach and we stood and watched the balloon get higher and farther away until it was gone for good. Bryson burst into tears. Poor thing :( He seriously cried for about 20 minutes. He left me outside and went back in the house. I could hear him crying all through the house "My balloon!!". After waiting over a month for that thing to come down, it was taken from him so quickly. Bless his heart :)

Awww, that is so sad. It's so sweet the things they end up loving and crying for once they are gone. Aidan had this tiny wooden snowman from some Christmas decoration that my Grandma gave him and he carried that thing everywhere with him and slept with it and one day the bottom fell off and we lost it. He was so upset. He did not understand why I couldn't get it back for him.
