Look at the bottom of Katie Holmes' jeans....

She tight rolled them! Like I did in 7th grade. The tighter, the better. Remember? Is this making a come back???
Now, I can make a mean tight roll...but I don't think I'll break out my tight rollin' skills again.
"Tight Rolled Pants/Jeans" is actually found on Wikipedia:
Tight rolled pants
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tight rolled pants was a
fad of the 1980s and early 1990s in which girls and boys would tight-roll the bottoms of their jeans or any pants that they wore. On full length pants tight rolling is performed by taking up the slack around the ankles at the hem of the pants, folding the extra material over and then rolling upwards 2 or 3 times over. A proper tight-roll should have the extra material folded inward across the lower shin. The use of safety pins was key to a good roll, but to the experienced tight roller they can be achieved without them.
Tight-rolled pants are occasionally seen today among
scene or youth culture people and are sometimes referred to as French rolled pants.[citation needed] It can also be referred to as "pegged" or "pegging" your pants.
This fad is thought to be originated by the fashion icon, Cameron Cole, who was best known for his work with the
New Kids on the Block.

Haha!! I actually remember using safety pins to keep my masterpiece together!!

If NKOTB can come back, so can tight rolled jeans. I wonder if Katie will double up her socks with 2 different colors and maybe even alternate the colors. Now that would be awesome.

What in the world! I remember trying so hard to get them rolled soo tight that my hands would hurt after doing it. That is one weird fad I thought would never come back. It was especially weird that we used to put on layers of 2 or 3 socks underneath the tight rolled pant and we thought that looked good.
