A Few Pictures

Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.
Two weeks ago when the metroplex got snow, we got zero. None. However, the next morning when we woke up, Bryson saw that we received 1/100 inch of snow on the ground and was ready to put on his gloves and go outside and play. So we did.

Last weekend we went to a nice wedding reception for one of my really good friends from OCU, Liz. I know that Liz probably hated every minute of it. She can't stand to be the center of attention. She was probably sweating when everyone was watching them cut the cake! :)

The reception was held at the Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine. I highly recommend it. It's nice. The picture below is of Jerrod and me. It's blurry...but we don't get that dressed up very often so it's going on the blog!

I remember a while back, Amie posted pics of her nieces playing with chalk paint. So, last time I went to Canton, I picked us up some! Yesterday it was very pretty outside so we all painted some artwork on our sidewalk.

Cheesey smile :)

Here is Bryson riding on his "motorcyle" (not a tricycle!!). He refuses to use the pedals. He just wants to scoot himself along. He often has his own way of doing things. I guess it gets the job done though...he still gets from point A to point B.

My boy is Mr. Independent these days (typical of a 2 year old I suppose) and he knows what he wants! He woke up the other day and said "I want to wear my football shirt. I want to get donuts and I want to go to the cleaners". Well, OK then. We did 2 of the 3 so he was a happy camper.
Yesterday we heard a knock on our front door. When we opened it, there were 2 little kids standing on our front porch and they asked "Can Bryson come out to play". This is my boy's first time to have someone come to the door to ask if he can come play! He's getting to be so big :) ....snif snif

I'll have to look for that sidewalk chalk. Can you get it locally? Loved all the pictures!
