I think Valentine's day is overrated. Am I alone here, people? It's fun for kids and "young love" couples. But for someone who has been with their spouse for 14 years (married for almost 8) and now has a 2 year old running around, it's just not as fun as it used to be. I tried to be "Valentiney" and take my boys to Texas Roadhouse tonight but the wait was over two hours! Now, I love me some Texas Roadhouse but a 2 hour wait is just insane. I called around to see what the wait was at a couple othere places....they also had a two hour wait. Forget it. We picked up Quiznos and ate at home. Happy Valentine's Day! Can you feel the romance?
I did enjoy giving Bryson Valentine goodies...it's always fun to watch him get excited about presents.
Jerrod and I will have a nice date night some other time....on a weekend night without a two year old. Melting Pot sounds yummy!

We ate at home too. That is the only way to go these days! I am regretting the treats Reagan got this evening though since it was after 10:30 before she would sleep! Happy, but just awake. Too much chocolate for the girl who never gets it....
We ate te home as well. No way am I taking a 19 month old to a busy resturant. Understand completely.
way to stay home!
I love melting pot. did you have a good time?
