Well, Dad-Gummit!

I tell you what! Just stay away from us Edwards folks because we are currently in a bad luck streak!

After the break-in at the clinic on Thanksgiving, we purchased more insurance, more security, a new front door, a new computer, and are still looking for a new TV to replace the one that was stolen in the lobby.

Things were getting back to "normal" for us.

Then last night happened. Jerrod went to a concert with our neighbor in Dallas. As they were heading home, they were involved in a wreck. They are both perfectly fine but Jerrod's truck is not! A Mercedes crashed really hard into the driver's side of the truck. Both doors on the driver's side will have to be replaced for sure.

The impact of the crash sent the car into a telephone pole. Jerrod hit it dead on. So, the front of the truck (bumper, hood, etc) is a total wreck. I bet there is easily 8K worth of damage.

The car that hit them did not stop...they just kept on going. Nice. What is wrong with people?! My guess is either they didn't have insurance or they had been drinking. Jerrod wasn't able to get the car's license plate number. So, thank goodness we have insurance, but we are still going to have to pay our deductible and for a rental car until the truck is fixed. But like I said, they are okay so we are very thankful for that. Things could have been worse.

I told Jerrod "Well, I guess our house is next!". So if anyone out there has any plans to do anything to our house, back off. We have a good security system and two dogs that are annoying and will bug you to death. So don't even think about it!

I am with Amie, I was going to break in but it looks like all I would get is a couple of Hannah Montana CD's...
