Halloween!

Last night we took Bryson out for Halloween. He was the most handsome pirate that I've ever seen! ....if I do say so myself!

It's impossible to get him to be still and pose for a picture...this is as good as it got!

We made a quick stop to visit my Granny at her Alzheimer's home. This is Bryson being shy. There was a lady at the home that kept coming up to us. She would knock on top of Bryson's head and slap Jerrod and me in the butt!

I don't know what he was doing with his arms, but this is the only picture I was able to get of him actually looking into the camera.

Daddy and Bryson heading to the car. We are now headed to our church for some fun and more candy!

Playing games for candy!

I guess he won't be much of a soccer player. We kept trying to show him how to kick the ball into the net but all he wanted to do was pick up all of the balls and throw them over the net. I guess he wanted to play some basketball instead..... So luckily he was able to find a game that would let him shoot hoops.

Waiting in line for more candy (His ear looks pointy in this picture for some reason. My son does not have elf ears)

Bounce houses are always a hit with the little ones....shoot, I like them too! Hey Lindsey, remember when we kicked all of the kids out of the bounce house and acted a fool?! That was some fun!

Worn out and ready to be home!

We had a good time. I think next year we may try out the trick or treating in our neighborhood...see if it's any good or not! But until then, we (yes, "we") are enjoying Bryson's big bag of candy. He got some really good stuff!! I told Jerrod that we need to make sure that we don't eat all of the good candy and leave the gross stuff for Bryson. ....That is what always happened to me when I was little! I'd wake up the next morning and all I'd have left were Dots! Thanks, Dad :)

The Dots comment made me laugh outloud. Those are nasty and I ALWAYS got them too! Gross. Anyways, CUTE pirate-man! Love the costume and the fun pics!

Ok, thanks for the laugh at the nursing home. Really, old people are our "toddlers" in not so cute bodies. Imagine if they pulled a Bryson and was outside in the one shoe and shirt. Funny, but not so funny mental image.
And yes, you do have a great looking pirate on your hands. And you know, he'll never know if you eat all his good candy now. Maybe next year you could save the good stuff.
