Bryson is
definitely 2! He is rotten to the core :) His
pediatrician retired so we went shopping for a new one. Luckily we found a great one on our first try. We went to visit with Dr. Mann in Mansfield on Wednesday.
Bryson was good while I filled out the paperwork, but after that, he was beyond ready to go. He was DONE. So, he started to act out. Y'all, he was terrible! I have never seen him be this bad! Crying, screaming, telling me "no" to everything. He even told the doctor "no" when he was trying to examine him and pushed away his
stethoscope! He was awful. When we were leaving, the
nurse at the front desk said "here, let me give you some stickers,
bryson". She gave me two stickers to give him. You'd think that would make him happy. Nope. I gave them to
Bryson, he yelled "NO" and took them from my hand, ran back up to the nurse's desk, threw them on her desk, and yelled "NO". I just picked them back up and said "Uh, sorry. Thank you. Bye". I bet they were happy to see us leave. So needless to say, the little man got a spanking in the parking lot. I warned him about 10 times inside the doctor's office, but he didn't care, so he received a spanking. I told him that he was bad in the doctor's office. He calmed down and about 10 minutes later in the car, he said "
Bryson was bad. Sorry Momma.
Bryson was bad". It just melted my heart. :) So I leaned over, rubbed his leg, and we went and got a smoothie.
You see...he may be in the "terrible 2's" stage, but it's really not all that terrible. As rotten as he can be sometimes, he's 10 times more fun and adorable and sweet. I love this age. The things that he has started to say crack me up. So those of you who have little ones that aren't 2 yet, don't worry. It's actually pretty fun...
even though he has started to tell me "No Momma, go away" when I hug and kiss on him sometimes! I wouldn't trade this time with
Bryson for anything!
Here is Bryson helping me clean. I was vacuuming and when I turned around, I saw him behind me. He had gone upstairs and brought down his own little vacuum and was following me around the house helping. So cute!
He LOVES to watch home videos of himself now. He is always asking to "watch Bryson". Here he is watching himself...I walked into the den and saw that he pulled his little chair all the way up to the TV so he could get a better view. Little stinker!

"Gotta love "em, but you gotta spank"em too! (especially if you want others to love 'em too!). Can't wait to see him. It's weird hearing him say so much to yall. Glad you are enjoying your time w/him. He's (naked)Katie's age when we started keeping him & this is her last year at home b4 school. Crazy how time flies. I'm just glad he is choosing to wear clothes in his 2's.

Love that you are able to still say this time is so fun..you dont hear that often!
I can only imagine how precious that was to hear him say "Bisey" was bad! Little toot! He'll continue to say "go away!" sometimes, but never do it. Our sons just have to deal with it. Hugs and kisses are in the Edwards' contract. Love, Pam
I am so thankful for that! To hear that he was "bad" but then apologizing to Mommy?!?! Too sweet!! I sure wish I could have seen him last weekend. We have to have a "meeting" for our kids!
Ok, now on to watch the Brittney video...
