OK. I'm going to share with y'all my Granny's famous fruit salad recipe. She knew I loved it, so she always had some in the fridge when she knew I was coming over or coming home for a break during college. My Granny is/was the best. Many of you know that she is in the last stages of Alzheimer's...I miss her terribly. Her body is here, but her mind is totally gone. We were such good friends. I am excited though to know that some day I'll be able to meet up with her in heaven and we can talk again like we used to! Anyways...sorry, I kind of got off the subject! This is a great recipe for fruit salad. It is EASY to make and makes a lot! Enjoy!
2 cans of peach pie filling
2 cans of mandarin oranges (drained)
1 20 oz can of pineapple chunks (drained)
3 or 4 large bananas, sliced
2 boxes of frozen strawberries (thawed)
1 box of "instant" vanilla pudding
Throw it all in one big bowl and eat up!
Here's a tip...after you slice the bananas, soak them in pineapple juice for about an hour to prevent them from turning brown!
Enjoy!!! We are!

Yum!!! I will have to try that... substituting the strawberries for something... since they are the only fruit I don't like. Weird, huh? But I love me some fruit salad, so this sounds fabulous!
Ok, and I do love your sweet Granny too. Love her.
Very sweet (the granny thoughts) as well as the recipe! I miss her too!
Thanks for including your granny's good fruit salad. I always wondered how she made it.
Your granny was a very sweet lady and I have missed her.
